This year, our international ESC volunteers played a key role in developing and leading impactful workshops that empowered young people and promoted mental health, inclusion, and creativity in Kozani. Through partnerships with local institutions and their own initiative, these volunteers brought fresh ideas and powerful tools to our community.
In collaboration with the Municipality of Kozani, EPSYKA, and IONOS, our volunteers led mental health workshops in the city’s central square, reaching over 400 students from 7 local schools. The interactive challenge, “Mission Possible,” promoted kindness, self-care, and emotional awareness during the holiday season.
Students created loving holiday cards, explored relaxation activities, learned to say “Merry Christmas” in many languages, and shared ways to support struggling classmates — all through engaging, creative missions that made the season brighter.

A safe, uplifting space where young women connected through mindfulness, body image awareness, and self-love. Guided by a local facilitator, the session featured exercises, movement, and reflections that sparked meaningful dialogue and confidence among participants.
On February 17th, ESC volunteer Lukas Sabol led an insightful workshop for PESYP students at Aspete Kozani. Using mindfulness and discussion, participants explored the impact of stress and discovered practical techniques to manage it.
The event encouraged self-awareness and resilience, helping students reflect on their emotional wellbeing and build healthier coping strategies.
Our international team launched the GO Alive podcast, a new platform sharing stories of youth empowerment, ESC projects, and wellbeing practices. Through short episodes, we present the mission and values of GO Alive and share volunteering opportunities for young people worldwide.
This three-part workshop series focused on nonviolent communication and emotional intelligence. Participants practiced expressing themselves with empathy, transforming judgments, and articulating their needs with clarity.
Held at the GO Alive office in early 2025, the sessions empowered attendees to foster better relationships — personally and professionally.
On January 24th, our volunteers hosted a calming evening dedicated to gratitude and self-connection. Through meditation, reflection circles, and storytelling, attendees slowed down, recharged, and connected with others on a deeper level — a mindful pause in the rush of everyday life.
