Paphos, Cyprus | 16 – 25 April 2025
From 16th to 25th April 2025, participants from across Europe gathered in the coastal city of Paphos, Cyprus, to take part in an engaging and vibrant Erasmus+ Youth Exchange: Youth Empowerment in a Connected World. This project, co-funded by the European Union and delivered in the spirit of intercultural learning and digital empowerment, brought together young people ready to connect, reflect, and take action.
Throughout the exchange, participants dived into a rich programme of non-formal learning. Through energisers, group workshops and creative sessions, they explored:
– How to use digital tools responsibly and creatively
– The power of youth participation in the digital age
– Intercultural exchange as a driver of inclusion and empathy
They took part in team-building games, designed posters and campaigns, and led discussions on youth issues, online communication, and identity in a connected world.
Victoria shared:
“Just came back from an unforgettable Erasmust adventure with the Youth Empowerment in a Connected World program! Nine days packed with laughs, energizers, hands-on workshops, and deep convos about digital life and youth power. We made friends from all over Europe, shared our cultures during fun Culture Nights, and grew together in the best way possible.”
Chrysanthi added:
“Grateful for this amazing experience! Spent nine enriching days in beautiful Paphos, connecting with inspiring people from Latvia, Hungary, Italy, and Georgia.
We shared knowledge, laughs, and unforgettable moments through energizers, digital skills workshops, team activities, and cultural nights. A journey full of growth, joy, and friendships that will stay with me forever.”
Anastasia reflected:

“Being part of this program was an amazing experience! I learned so much about digital tools, met wonderful people from different countries, and grew more confident in using technology responsibly. I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned back to my community!”
Asimenia noted:
“Nine days filled with kickstarting energisers, followed by constructive sessions on digital skills, a variety of team building exercises.
Throughout this program we connected with people from different countries, bonded deeply with them, and got the opportunity to learn about their respective cultures and teach them about ours, on Culture Nights.”
The Youth Exchange wasn’t just about digital tools, it was about building relationships, developing confidence, and finding common ground across cultures. Thanks to the thoughtful facilitation and strong group spirit, each participant left with more than just knowledge, they left with stories, friendships, and the drive to keep learning.
Thank you to all the partners, participants and supporters of this wonderful experience. Keep following GO Alive for more opportunities to grow, connect, and create with Erasmus+.
