From 5th to 12th May 2024, the peaceful and scenic village of Peñalba de Santiago, in the heart of El Bierzo, Spain, hosted the Erasmus+ training course “Terra Viva”. Co-funded by the European Union, this project brought together young minds from across Europe to delve into themes of rural entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation. The setting surrounded by nature and cultural heritage was the perfect backdrop for reflection, exchange, and inspiration.

Objectives

– To promote youth entrepreneurship in rural areas

– To create innovative tools and share best practices for youth employment in the agricultural and rural sectors

– To engage young people in building a more sustainable way of life
