The following survey explores the situation of youth employment in the consortium countries of the project “EYES – Empowering Youth for Equal Success”.
The survey is focused on gathering data about youth employment, issues young people face in terms of job market, disparities young people from marginalized groups are facing, and similar. This survey is conducted in each of the consortium countries, using the following standardized form developed by project consortium.
Moreover, through this form we aim to collect concrete recommendations for improvement of certain areas of education and employment systems, regarding young people.
Empowering Youth for Equal Success (EYES) project will be implemented by @yesbulgaria from Bulgaria in cooperation with @kom018.nis.serbia from Serbia, @beyondbordersitaly from Italy, @cosi_romania from Romania and GO Alive from Greece. EYES project aims to increase awareness, advocate and offer equal employment opportunities for young people, especially young women and girls, youngsters from minorities, rural areas etc., while building the capacities and expertise of youth workers and the organizations and consortium.
🎯 Specific objectives:
1) To enhance the employability of young people, especially NEET youth and those from vulnerable groups by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to succeed in the labor market;
2) To strengthen the capacities of partner organizations and youth workers to continue supporting young people beyond the project’s lifespan;
3) To foster cross-sectoral cooperation and advocacy for improved employment policies by conducting research and producing evidence-based recommendations;
4) To establish local innovation hubs in 5 local communities of partners as part of sustainability strategy.
EYES will be done through a complementary approach with the support of all partners, using non-formal education and aiming practice-based learning, with activities in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania and Serbia in the period of 24 months, from 01.09.2025 to 31.08.2027.
