On Wednesday morning, in the auditorium of the Coventarios Library, which was packed with children and teachers, the projects of 300 children from ten secondary schools of the Regional Unit of Kozani, the municipalities of Kozani and Eordaias were presented, Voi, Servia and Velventos, which participated in the “Green Out of the Box” project, an innovative initiative of “GO Alive”, in the framework of the European project EUTeensS4Green, which promotes the green transition and energy autonomy of regions in transition.
“GO Alive gives opportunities for young people to reach their best as individuals. We support them to participate in European projects, travel abroad and take part in projects to develop their skills” said Go Alive founder Markos Chionos.
Panagiotis Andrikopoulos, member of the “Green Out of the Box” project, stressed that the project aimed to bring the young people of Kozani closer to sustainability and trained students and teachers to work together and promote the values of “GreenComp”.
“After almost a year and ten schools, we can say that we are very satisfied with the results,” he noted.
“We are very happy that a beautiful but long journey comes to an end and we renew our appointment for next year” said Vasiliki Tsiami, member of Go Alive.
