Privacy Policy — GO Alive


1. Introduction

GO Alive collects and processes personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and Greek Law 4624/2019. This policy applies to visitors, volunteers, partners and participants in projects run by GO Alive.

  • Administrative information: country, sending/host organization, participation details;

  • Voluntary submissions: information provided in forms, applications, surveys or testimonials.

  • Manage registrations and participation in Erasmus+/ESC projects;
  • Communicate with participants, volunteers and partners;
  • Produce reports required by the European Commission and National Agencies;
  • Promote activities and share project results;

No personal data is used for commercial resale.

Processing is based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • Explicit consent provided by the data subject (e.g. form submissions);
  • Performance of a task carried out in the public interest (Erasmus+/ESC projects);

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above. Data related to funded projects may be retained up to five (5) years to meet administrative and audit obligations under Erasmus+.

  • Erasmus+ and ESC National Agencies;
  • The European Commission;
  • Project partner organizations (only when strictly necessary and under confidentiality agreements).

We do not sell personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

GO Alive implements appropriate technical and organizational measures including secure hosting (GDPR compliant), restricted access to authorized personnel, encrypted transmission (HTTPS/SSL), and regular backups and monitoring.
