Vatra Dornei, Romania | 04–12/11/2024
From November 4th to 12th, 2024, GO Alive had the chance to participate in the Erasmus+ youth exchange InclusivE+ in Vatra Dornei, Romania.
This project brought together young people from across Europe to explore the theme of inclusion and diversity through engaging workshops, creative group activities, and unforgettable cultural experiences.
Participants were immersed in the natural beauty of Vatra Dornei, discovering new ways to build stronger inclusive communities while forming meaningful friendships and unforgettable memories.
Whether hiking in the mountains, sharing meals in traditional Romanian guesthouses, or engaging in meaningful conversations during creative sessions, the participants experienced the power of collaboration and cultural exchange first-hand.
Workshops focused on empathy, collaboration, and the value of open dialogue. The programme also included energisers, reflection circles, and collective storytelling moments that brought everyone closer together.

“The program InclusivE+ in Vatra Dornei ended for me with a wave of feelings. Firstly, I am really thankful that I got to be a part of the project but at the same time it is so hard for me to leave this wonderful place and say goodbye to the amazing people I met and became really close friends. The program itself through the activities we had, aimed at creating bonds between the participants, by promoting teamwork and intercultural learning. This not only got us closer, but also gave us the chance to expose ourselves to different cultures and become familiar with them.”

From laughter during team-building games to calm reflection in nature, the memories made in Vatra Dornei will last a lifetime. The final day ended with a fun celebration and sharing of heartfelt stories.
