Silivri, Istanbul, Türkiye | 16–24 November 2024 | Training Course
About the Project
As 2024 was coming to an end, GO Alive proudly participated in “F.L.O.W – Feel, Learn, Own, Work”, a dynamic Erasmus+ Training Course hosted in Silivri, Istanbul, Türkiye.
This international experience gathered motivated young people and youth workers from all over Europe to explore the power of emotional intelligence, digital tools, creativity and personal development. Through a carefully designed programme of interactive activities, participants improved their communication, cooperation and leadership skills.
The week-long training was filled with non-formal education methods such as role-playing, simulation games, and storytelling. Together, they created a safe and inspiring space to connect, learn and grow.
Participants’ Experiences
Nikos:
“Hello folks, I would like to take a moment to thank GO Alive that gave me the opportunity to participate in this training course about ICT Tools. It was a really nice experience on which we learnt a lot of new tools and platforms, which we also used for creating a step by step guide on how to use ICT Tools for networking.
Lastly, I would like to thank each and every one of the people for sharing their knowledge and made this project a truly wonderful experience, I can’t wait to meet everyone again!”
Vasia:
“Hello friends! I am lucky to have participated in this project as it was a great experience for me and I really learnt many useful things! In this project we were trained in using a lot of new ICT tools that help communication and networking.
We also created a useful guide for NGOs on how they can stay connected and network with people and other organizations. During these days we met each other and shared important experiences. I’d like to thank GO Alive for giving me this opportunity and also YENGEÇ for hosting us!”
Learning & Impact
The training also encouraged participants to explore their own creativity and initiative. They collaborated in teams to design tools and workshops for local youth organisations and created real resources to be used beyond the project.
Each evening offered moments of connection, reflection, and fun, from cultural nights to team-building games.
The programme ended with a powerful evaluation session and the distribution of Youthpass certificates, celebrating the individual and collective journeys lived during the week.
