Organized by GO Alive and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the youth exchange “Don’t Judge the Book by its Cover” took place in the town of Štúrovo, Slovakia. This project brought together young people from across Europe to engage in intercultural dialogue, break stereotypes, and promote mutual respect.
Through interactive workshops, discussions, and team-building activities, participants explored how bias and prejudice shape our perception of others. The project created a safe and dynamic space where everyone could express their identity freely, reflect on their assumptions, and appreciate diversity as a source of learning and connection.
Participants didn’t just challenge stereotypes; they built a temporary but powerful community. They engaged in collaborative exercises, creative presentations, and intercultural evenings that showcased the beauty of different traditions, values, and perspectives.

“The program was truly unforgettable. I met people from all over Europe and we managed to create a space of trust, respect, and fun. The organizers were always there for us, and the workshops taught me so much—especially about human relationships. The facilities were great, and I hope to live such an experience again soon.”
