Rimini, Italy | 19-28 February 2025
From the 19th to the 28th of February 2025, a group of young participants had the opportunity to experience a unique Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Rimini, Italy, through the project “Creative Youth Development”.
Bringing together young people from different countries, the project aimed to promote social inclusion, active youth participation, and personal expression through non-formal learning methods, within a welcoming and inspiring environment.
Throughout the exchange, participants engaged in a variety of creative and interactive workshops designed to foster self-expression, teamwork, and critical thinking.
From participatory theatre to creative writing sessions, group discussions and cooperation games, every activity offered a space to share ideas, develop personal talents, and build confidence within an inclusive group setting.
Each moment contributed to strengthening the sense of belonging and creating strong bonds among the participants.
Beyond the workshop sessions, participants also enjoyed meaningful experiences around the local area.
One of the highlights of the exchange was a beach clean-up activity, which raised awareness on environmental issues and reinforced team spirit through collective action.
Exploring Rimini, sharing informal moments, and discovering the local culture all contributed to making this experience even richer and more memorable.
Nikolaos:
“Being part of this Erasmus project was an amazing experience. I learned how important it is to respect and include everyone, no matter their background. It showed me how small actions can make a big difference in people’s lives. What made this project special was meeting new people, sharing stories, and working together. I recommend it to other young people because it helps you grow, make new friends, and understand others better.”
Konstantinos:
“It was my first Erasmus project ever, and what impressed me the most was sharing a room with people from other countries. We became great friends, and despite thinking we had many differences at first, we quickly started having tons of fun. I also worked with a girl from Hungary on an interactive presentation called ‘partners in crime’ where we pretended to be fictional characters. Working with her was unexpectedly pleasant—she had everything ready in under an hour!”
Konstantinos :
« In this experience I have learned a lot of things about myself and others. I learned to communicate more with a group, to solve problems, and to be more social. This project gave me the opportunity to speak in English and meet people from totally different backgrounds. I’d recommend this programme to other young people because it’s an opportunity they normally don’t have. »
