From May 8th to 26th, 2024, the city of Bucharest hosted the Erasmus+ training course “Bridging to Brighter Days”, gathering participants from across Europe for a powerful and engaging experience focused on non-formal education and youth mental health.

Objectives of the project

– To provide tools and methods for addressing mental health among young people through non-formal learning

– To promote empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence in youth work.

– To encourage intercultural dialogue and build bridges between different backgrounds and beliefs.

What participants said:

George:

“Communicating and being in contact with people from different backgrounds, nationalities, and beliefs helped us bridge our differences and increase our mutual understanding.”

Elena:

“This was my first Erasmus experience and it exceeded my expectations. I especially appreciated making friends from different countries and cultures. It was an immersive and informative experience that I will never forget.”

Euaggelia:

“We achieved all the goals for gaining experience on non-formal education and mental health among youngsters. Tears, laugh, boredom, hugs and everything in between. Remember: we are the solution.”

During this course, learning went hand in hand with exploration, laughter, connection, and personal growth. A truly transformative journey for all who took part!
